By accessing or using Compressor ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Compressor provides free, browser-based tools for compressing, converting, and processing files including images, videos, audio, PDFs, code, and SVGs. All processing occurs locally in your web browser — files are never uploaded to our servers.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the files you choose to process using the Service.
- You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- You agree not to attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining backup copies of your original files.
4. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Compressor. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without written permission.
5. File Ownership
We claim no ownership over the files you process using the Service. Since all processing happens in your browser, your files remain entirely under your control.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that compression results will meet your specific requirements.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Compressor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
8. Availability
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any unavailability of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
